Cookies and storage
Chronos sets no cookies: no ads, no analytics, no social networks. That's why no consent banner appears.
What your browser keeps
To remember your preferences, the site uses your browser's local storage. This information never leaves your device.
| Key | Storage | Content | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
theme | Local | Chosen theme: dark or light | Until you clear the site's data |
docs-preferred-version-… | Local | Preferred docs version, if a project publishes several | Same |

Why no consent is asked
These items only serve the service you ask for (keeping your theme, not replaying the intro, keeping your conversation). They are exempt from consent under article 82 of the French Data Protection Act and the CNIL guidelines.
Deleting them
You can clear them at any time from your browser settings (Clear site data). The site will still work, it will simply fall back to your system's theme.
If this changes
If an analytics tool or a third-party service that sets cookies is ever added, this page will be updated and your consent will be asked before anything is set.
